University of Toronto Scarborough Entrance Scholarships for International Students

International students applying from secondary school who are admitted to University of Toronto Scarborough will automatically be considered for scholarships.

International applicants are highly encouraged to complete the International Financial Aid Profile, which is available in the JOIN U of Toronto portal.
These awards will make a significant contribution towards tuition, Student Housing & Residence Life, and other fees, however, students must be able to pay the balance of their expenses. You will need to develop a realistic financial plan to fund your studies throughout your time at U of T Scarborough.

Scholarship decisions will be communicated to successful applicants before the deadline to accept an offer of admission.

Before you apply

Know what you want to study. Learn more about our programs and their requirements on this site and the University of Toronto Scarborough View Book. Remember that you can only apply to one program at University of Toronto Scarborough, so make sure it’s the one you want!

Explore the campus. Find out more through tours and events to get a good feel for your campus and your program of choice.

Check your eligibility. If English is not your first language, you may need to take an English Language Facility test. If you are an international student, you should also research the additional information needed to study in Canada (e.g. Visas & Permits). If you have a disability, please contact U of T Scarborough’s Access Ability Services for information and assistance regarding disability accommodation and related services.

Sending in your application

Send in your application. Apply on the Ontario Universities' Application Centre and provide any necessary supplementary application forms before the deadline.

Make sure your application is complete. Only send in what is required — we may request more information at later stages in your application processes.
