  1. Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Production Lead for our newly added 2nd shift! We're looking for a detail-oriented results-driven individual who can meet the demands of a dynamic and rapidly expanding multi-brand food manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • What You'll Do:
Supervise and Lead Production Team: Lead and mentor a team of production workers to ensure daily productivity standards and quality targets are met.
  • Monitor Production Processes: Ensure that production processes are followed and optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Schedule and Plan Production: Develop and manage production schedules, coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies for uninterrupted production.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during production, including machinery breakdowns, staffing challenges, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, and food safety protocols throughout the production process.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior management.
  • Ideal Candidate:

Proven work experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Open-minded and receptive to change while supporting the company goals and initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP
Strong understanding of food safety practices
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
Previous leadership experience in a similar role
